MODULATED malts are Troubadour's series of Cara-style specialty malts created in our Buhler roaster by rehydrating finished malt and then holding them in the roaster at conversion temp until they've developed that sweetness, then drive the moisture out and create color through Maillard/browning reactions.

MOD Vermillion is fashioned to be their take on a Cara-Red malt, around a 20-25L.
