Mod Nektar Adjunct Malt - 1oz

MODULATED malts are Troubadour's series of Cara-style specialty malts created in our Buhler roaster by rehydrating finished malt and then holding them in the roaster at conversion temp until they've developed that sweetness, then drive the moisture out and create color through Maillard/browning reactions.

MOD Nektar is their take on a Honey or Melanoidin malt where they rehydrate the finished malt, drain the excess water and then let it sit with the surface moisture for an extended period in order to develop that lactic snappiness before they roast it to a 25-30L.
